| Social Events
There's
a lively social calendar and the group encourages
members to organise and participate in a variety of social events throughout
the year.
There is a
monthly pub night (food is usually
available if you would like to eat), the pub nights are informal and
friendly, there is no need to book and you are more than welcome just to
turn up on the night.
Other
social events have
included comedy nights, restaurant meals, pub quiz nights, barn dance
and hog roast, tribute concerts, open-air concerts, Jack the Ripper walk and
social, Theatre trips and more. We have an annual party around
Christmas every year and in 2011 we celebrated our 5th Birthday with a
Summer Boat Party in Old Windsor.

New members of the group
are particularly welcome, and if you would like to organise an event but
need some help please ask the Social events Co-ordinator or any member of the committee.
A weekly events update is
issued by the Socials events Co-ordinator to all members and everyone on the
email circulation list. Some events are restricted to members only
so there is an incentive to join our group.
